• All fees are payable in advance.

• Smoking in rooms is strictly forbidden, and you will be held liable for damages if you smoke in the room. And you must pay a fine of R500 for smoking in the room immediately.

• Only residing guests are allowed in the house and room. Unpaid guests may be asked to leave at the owner's discretion. A penalty of 100% of the overnight fee will be charged if this is ignored.

• Guests must behave in a manner conducive to the safety, peace and comfort of other guests. Making a loud noise is not acceptable. The owner/manager reserves the right to evict anyone found misbehaving with immediate effect without a refund.

• Arrival time: Any time after 14h00 and before 22h00. Late arrivals must pay a R200 after-hours fee in cash.

• Departure time: On or before 10h00.

• Please remember to hand in keys on departure. Failure to do so will result in a replacement cost penalty of R1,000 and you will be responsible for paying the daily rate per day that you did not hand in the keys.

• Please note that the cleaning staff will not accept instructions from guests. Please contact the person on duty for assistance. You must leave the room for housekeepers to clean. The please make up room board must be turned for the cleaning staff to clean the room. The do not disturb side of the board must be turned if you do not want the cleaning staff to clean your room.

• No visitors or guests are allowed without upfront payment.

• Guests are responsible for paying for all and any damage to the room, linen or property that they made.

• Parking for vehicles is supplied and is at your own risk. It is against the law to park in such a way that the other guests or staff cannot get past your vehicle. Please park in the parking area allocated to you.

• Please make sure that the gates and doors are closed after entering or leaving the premises.

• No one is allowed to take any linen, glasses, plates, knives and forks, etc., out of the kitchen of the house without arrangements with the owner or manager.

• Breakfast menus must be filled in and marked with the name and room number and put at the order box in the dining room before they go to bed for the next morning.

• Breakfast is served from 07h00 to 09h30.

• For take-away breakfast, all menus must be in before 17h00 for the next morning

• Any maintenance work, like blocked drains or broken toilets, must be reported to the owner or staff immediately

• No linen or towels that belong to GriFan Guesthouse are allowed to leave the premises

• Guests are not allowed in no-entry places.

• If any rules or Regulations are not followed, the owner or Management have the right to evict the guest with immediate effect without refund

• A copy of the guest ID/passport/driver's license is required to check-in.

• A 50% deposit is required for all bookings made within 48 hours after the reservation is made.

Please Note:

Whilst every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions, the owner and management of GriFan Guesthouse cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, theft or damage to property or persons sustained on these premises.

We reserve the right to not refund bank costs upon cancellation for credit card bookings, as the bank does not credit initial deduction costs.
